Meet the Doctor
Dr. Kent Messer, DC, MBA
Kent Messer is a Doctor of Chiropractic. He currently holds active licenses in Florida, Georgia, and Missouri. He has been licensed in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Dr. Messer attended Norwich University for bachelorette studies in Studio Art and Fine Writing and Parkville University’s Pre-med program for his pre-chiropractic studies. He continued his education at Cleveland Chiropractic University where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic and later earned his MBA at Western Governors University with an emphasis on Healthcare Regulation Compliance. His bachelorette degrees include Human Biology and Humanities.
He has served as association officer in Michigan in both district and state roles while practicing in a rural community for a decade. During this time he received Governor Tributes (1999 and 2004) from the Governor of Michigan for his work as a member of the Michigan Chiropractic Council’s China Mission team that was lead by Dr. Cory Rodnick as part of an international exchange program to Michigan’s sister city, Zigong, China. While there he worked in the Number 1 hospital with their orthopedic and cardiology department heads providing care for hundreds of patients and was one of the symposium leaders during the exchange conference.
He has been recognized for his work assisting the Air Force in 2002 with a certificate of appreciation from the Flight Surgeon for the Air Force Recruitment program. In 2002 he received a team/teacher award for the NASA Space Day Challenge – Mission to Mars for one of the winning teams that year. The award was presented by Astronauts John Glenn and Dr. Sally Ride at the Air and Space Museum in Washington DC.
He has written articles for state and national publications in his profession and in 2007 was featured in an article in Kilpinger Magazine on education.
In Florida he has practiced as a Chiropractic Physician for over twenty years, serving as Assistant director for a group of multi-discipline facilities training doctors and staff on regulation compliance. He has worked as the treating Chiropractic Physician for a head injury clinic in Citrus Park, Florida where he provided care for professional athletes from different national and regional teams in the Tampa Bay area.
In 2023 he joined Dr. Franco Rizzolo, DC, CME’s practice, Suncoast Injury Centers, Fort Myers Clinic, where he has been providing care for patients in the greater Fort Myers and Southwest Florida region.
He is board certified with the FMSCA NRCME to perform DOT/CDL physicals.
